CMC 2004 - First International Conference on Concept Mapping
Pamplona Iruña, Navarra, Spain - September 14-17, 2004
Full Paper Presentation Guidelines
- Each paper will have a 30 minutes slot, 20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for questions. Please plan for 20 minutes. With 30 minutes there is no excuse not to finish on time, and have time left for questions.
- There will be a computer and a projector in every room that you can use for your presentation. The computer will have a connection to Internet, and PowerPoint installed.
- If you plan to bring your own computer (laptop), most laptops automatically handle the voltage (220V) used in Spain, but you may need a plug-adapter in order to plug the laptop to the electrical outlets.
- Every session will have simultaneous translation Spanish-English and English-Spanish, but consider that any text that you project will not be translated and so will only be understood by part of the audience.
- If you are going to project concept maps, try to have the text in a large font size so its readable from the back of the room.
- Last, to take care of addictions, there will be computers available at the conference for participants to check their email, as well as a wireless network for those with a laptop with wireless adapters.
